Shipping & Inventory Associate

Sterling Engineering is partnering with a leading precision measurement equipment manufacturer in Aurora, IL, to hire a Shipping & Inventory Associate. This is a hands-on position supporting service parts shipping, inventory, packaging, and equipment preparation.

Immediate opening! Our client is looking for someone who can start October 26.Responsibilities Pick, pack, and ship service parts for field service technicians.

Clean and prepare precision measuring gages for calibration.

Assist with preparing rotational gages for upcoming service requirements.

Perform inventory counts of consumable parts and supplies.

Assemble and package service kits for field technicians.

Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records through basic computer data entry.

Support daily warehouse and service operations as needed.

Qualifications Previous shipping, packing, inventory, or warehouse experience preferred.

Basic computer skills and ability to perform data entry.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Comfortable standing and walking throughout the workday.

Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.

Comfortable using a step ladder up to 6 feet when picking parts.

Must wear closed-toe and closed-heel shoes.
