GL-MACHINE OPERATOR
$18-$20 TO START

JOB DESCRIPTION- 1. Operates production equipment to produce products in accordance with production requirements and standards.
- 2. Produces assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions.
- 3. Completes equipment set-up’s in accordance with customer specifications and quality procedures.
- 4. Inspects parts and documents findings on appropriate paperwork as needed.
- 5. Inspects equipment prior to use to verify equipment is in good working order.
- 6. Completes all required job documentation.
- 7. Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas daily.
- 8. Adheres to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
- 9. Notifies lead of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.
- Basic knowledge of machine operation and maintenance procedures
- Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints
- Hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read, understand and follow safety procedures
- Basic math skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Required to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- May also engage in frequent and repetitive bending, lifting, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers
