NOW HIRING:
Full-Time STNA/CNA – 1st & 2nd Shift

Up to $29.00/hr for Full-Time

Weekend Warrior STNA – Up to $34.00/hr

Responsibilities

The primary purpose of the STNA position is to provide residents high quality service and care.

Special Skills and Requirements
  • Performs & completes resident care as outlined on the care needs sheets and assignment sheets (lifting residents as determined as a one-person, two-person or hoyer lift; turning residents on time, toileting, feeding assistance, good/thorough peri care, ensuring alarms & other devices in place, follows proper infection control guidelines, completes rounds, weights, baths, and maintains neatness in resident rooms)
  • Performs restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed
  • Answers resident call lights promptly; ensures residents who are unable to call for help are checked frequently and their personal care needs are met in accordance with their wishes
  • Communicates any changes in condition, behaviors, etc. to nurse
  • Teamwork (willing to assist co-workers, help with toileting, feeding, activities, etc.; willingness to work on any unit)
  • Completes documentation each shift (computer-based charting, restorative, BM boards, food boards, shower sheets)
  • Assists residents in preparing for activity and social programs; assists in transporting residents to and from appointments, activities, and social programs
  • Attends STNA monthly meetings; attends all mandatory trainings and other mandatory meetings
  • Obtains minimum requirement of 12 hours of continuing education by anniversary date to maintain certification
  • Wears name badge at all times while on duty; maintains clean, appropriate uniform, proper nail length, no facial piercings
  • Dependability – consistent attendance, ability to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and seek feedback to improve performance
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Active STNA License in the State of Ohio
