. D1 Training Aurora serves scholastic athletes (ages 7–18), adults, and teams throughout the Aurora and surrounding Northeast Ohio area. You’ll lead a passionate team of coaches committed to developing athletes the right way — with purpose, structure, and intensity.

What You’ll Do:Be the Ultimate Game‑Changer Lead With Energy
- Serve as the lead coach for D1 membership workouts, D1‑on‑1 training, small group personal training, and team sessions
- Bring high energy, strong presence, proper attire, motivating music, and LOUD, intentional coaching
- Deliver clear cues, maintain pace and flow, and ensure seamless transitions every session
- Lead and mentor coaches through staff meetings, continuing education, and program reviews
- Ensure all coaches are Level 1 Certified the D1 Way (or progressing toward certification)
- Develop a culture of accountability, consistency, and athlete‑first coaching
- Create a positive, motivating environment where athletes feel challenged and supported
- Modify movements as needed to reduce injury risk while maintaining intent
- Align athletes with the appropriate programs to help them reach their goals
- Lead First Training Assessments (FTAs)
- Set clear goals with athletes and families
- Build strong relationships that drive retention, trust, and results
- Oversee quality control through session audits and ongoing feedback
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional training environment
- Ensure equipment and facility standards reflect championship‑level expectations
- Lead and support community marketing events, combines, competitions, and special events
- Serve as a visible leader and ambassador for D1 Training Aurora
- Share feedback, insights, and success stories with D1 leadership
- Contribute to continuous improvement of programming and athlete experience
- Minimum 1 years of strength & conditioning experience (group, team, or personal training)
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field
- Passionate about coaching athletes ages 7 through adult
- Knowledgeable in strength, speed, and movement fundamentals
- A natural leader with high energy and strong communication skills
- Organized, adaptable, and committed to athlete safety and development
- Willing to work flexible hours (40 per week total), including evenings, weekends, and community events
