Operations Manager
Role Summary
The Field Operations Coordinator supports Miller Clapperton’s Field Operations segment by assisting with project setup, coordination, and administrative functions. This role works closely with the Field Operations Manager, Project Management, and Installation Teams to ensure efficient project execution, compliance with safety standards, and effective communication among all stakeholders. The position also provides logistical and administrative support to enhance field productivity and overall project success.

Primary Responsibilities- Assist the Director of Field Operations in daily segment operations and proactively manage assigned tasks.
- Set up initial project documentation, subcontracts, and supporting records.
- Review and correct daily reports, reconcile invoices, and maintain project budget and projection spreadsheets.
- Review weekly payroll hours and track subcontractor insurance certifications and deductions.
- Schedule and track equipment and vehicle usage; maintain equipment and vehicle maintenance logs.
- Support site safety compliance by maintaining certifications, reviewing audits, and completing project‑specific safety documentation.
- Coordinate with Project Management, Field Crews, and Subcontractors to support installation activities and project completion.
- Visit job sites as needed to deliver materials and assist with mock‑ups or punch list items.
- Assist with onboarding and training new employees within the Field Operations segment.
- Provide administrative support for departments under the Director of Manufacturing and the Director of Field Operations.
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education or training in construction management preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction or a related field required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Bluebeam Revu or similar PDF software preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Exposure to construction and job site environments, including noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, and lift or move materials up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to travel between job sites and perform onsite coordination and deliveries as needed.
- May occasionally operate or work near equipment, lifts, or vehicles.
