Join Wellstar Health System as a full-time Internal Medicine GME Core Faculty at Cobb Hospital in Austell, GA, approximately 25 miles west of downtown Atlanta. Position available immediately. You will be part of a fully accredited Internal Medicine residency training program with committed core faculty and a solid track record of academic achievement.

Love teaching residents? You will actively participate in Clinical Practice of Medicine alongside teaching responsibilities, supporting resident learning, and contributing to the residency program’s success.

• The care of patients in Outpatient or Inpatient settings or both.
• The documentation of clinical care
• The documentation and tasks necessary for billing and other administrative functiions
• Continuing Medical Education required to maintain licensure and Board Certification
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Comply with all Well Star Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.

• MD, DO, DMD, or DDS degree.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Georgia.
• Completed residency training for the specialty and certified or qualified for certification by the specialty board.

• All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

Previous practice experience in a residency training program.

• Prior practice experience. (Preferred)
• Skills commensurate with given specialty.
• Proof of competency for clinical skills applied for.
