Position: Reliability Engineer (Open)

The successful candidate will provide technical support and manage programs related to maintaining a 24/7 paper mill and co-fired boiler. Responsibilities include improving facility and equipment reliability, supporting maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

• Root Cause Problem Solving (RCPS)
• Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA)
• Developing equipment Bill of Materials (BOMs)
• Managing the rotating equipment reliability program, focusing on centrifugal pumps, vibration analysis, mechanical seals, bearings, and lubrication
• Leading site lubrication initiatives
• Participating in project teams with a focus on reliability (Design for Reliability)
• Providing technical support, team leadership, and project management for infrastructure and equipment improvements
• Planning and executing maintenance during mill shutdowns
• Overseeing contractors and preventative maintenance activities
• Enhancing the preventative maintenance program
• Ensuring all operations comply with safety and regulatory standards
• Managing repair and special projects as assigned
• Performing additional duties as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Reliability Engineering
• Minimum 3 years as a Reliability Engineer and 5+ years in technical manufacturing support, preferably in Pulp and Paper
• Experience with predictive maintenance techniques such as oil analysis, ultrasonic testing, vibration analysis, thermography
• Strong planning, organizational, analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Effective leadership and communication abilities
• Experience with CMMS
