Inpatient Rehab Occupational Therapist

Role: Occupational Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to restore or improve patients' daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, and range of motion. Services are delivered across the continuum in a cost-effective, quality-focused, and patient-centered manner, adhering to regulatory standards.

• Treatment Planning and Care:
  Implements treatment plans, selects appropriate activities, revises goals with patient/family input, provides education, discharge instructions, and referrals.
• Patient Assessment:
  Collaborates with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs, goals, and discharge plans, involving patients and families in planning.
• Documentation:
  Records evaluations, treatment sessions, education, discharge, and other required documentation per guidelines.
• Professional Conduct:
  Maintains ethical standards, confidentiality, punctuality, effective communication, teamwork, and adheres to policies including infection control and dress code.
• Customer Service & Development:
  Demonstrates excellent patient interaction, fosters teamwork, participates in professional growth, mandatory training, and system requirements.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Licenses and certifications: OT license, BLS certification (or equivalent).
• Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
