Registered Respiratory Therapist; RRT

Role: Respiratory Therapist III responsible for delivering advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in complex care settings, primarily critical care areas.

• Provide high-quality patient care through assessments, therapy planning, and collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Administer aerosolized medications, manage ventilators, perform airway procedures, and analyze arterial blood gases.
• Educate patients, families, and support systems, while mentoring new staff and students.
• Promote patient safety, accurate documentation, and adherence to evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives.
• Engage in performance improvement projects and serve as a preceptor for new employees and students.

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
• Current NBRC-RRT credential, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required upon hire.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in critical care areas.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills; proficient with computer systems and databases.
