What You Will Be Doing:

As the Digital Solutions eCommerce Specialist, you will support the execution and optimization of our digital commerce strategy. You will also be responsible for delivering employee and customer training, providing technical support, driving continuous improvements in digital user experience, analyzing platform performance metrics, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure our online systems effectively meet both user requirements and strategic business objectives.

As a key member of our digital team, you will help drive online sales of Caterpillar parts and services through our digital commerce channels. You’ll work closely with marketing, inventory, operations, and sales teams to ensure a seamless and customer-friendly online experience.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and

Key Accountabilities:
  • Customer

    Experience:

    Support customer service and sales teams with eCommerce‑related inquiries.
  • Identify and resolve issues impacting the online customer journey.
  • Assist with customer support and order fulfillment processes as needed.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions, webinars, and tutorials for enhanced product understanding and engagement.
  • Partner with sales and store associates to drive change management for eCommerce adoption across Georgia.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitor activity, and Caterpillar digital initiatives.
  • Platform Optimization: Collaborate with CAT, IT, and operations teams to implement enhancements and troubleshoot issues.
  • Perform monthly regression testing and on‑demand testing.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze KPIs such as traffic, conversion rates, cart abandonment, customer behavior, retention, sales performance, and basket analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Generate reports and insights to inform strategy and decision‑making.
  • Product Management: Validate accurate product data, pricing, and inventory availability across digital channels.
  • Digital Marketing Support: Collaborate with internal teams to launch promotions, seasonal campaigns, and new product offerings including A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Assist in creating and managing content for product pages, banners, and landing pages.
  • Support SEO and digital advertising efforts to drive traffic and increase online visibility.
  • Ensuring a consistent and seamless experience for customers across all channels (online vs. brick‑and‑mortar stores).
Education/

Experience:
  • The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university or equivalent work experience. A degree in marketing, business, statistics, economics, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in eCommerce, preferably in B2B or industrial sectors.
Required Qualifications /

Skills:
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
  • Familiarity with platforms like Magento, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or similar.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of Caterpillar products or heavy equipment industry.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Experience in a DTC (Direct‑to‑Consumer) eCommerce environment.
  • Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Most of your time is spent sitting at a computer.
  • Willing to work in a climate‑controlled environment with moderate noise levels and vibrations carried over from the shop.
Physical:
  • Will require appropriate Personal Protection Equipment to be worn in safety sensitive areas.
  • Occasionally lift, carry, and lower up to 15 lbs.
