Assembler - Battery Plate - Day Shift

Concorde Battery Georgia Corporation manufactures aircraft batteries. Founded in 2014 in Georgia (just outside West Atlanta) and with 40+ years in the industry, we are expanding and looking for motivated candidates to join our pasting department.

• Follow written and oral instructions.
• Adjust pasting machine to control quality standards.
• Stack grids onto machine feeder and offload plates from conveyor.
• Adjust temperature on pasting oven and operate curing ovens.
• Inspect and clean plates; use small hand tools.
• Stand for long periods of time and maneuver up to 80 pounds.
• Perform reaching, carrying, bending/stooping, pushing and pulling tasks.
• Wear a respirator and other required PPE.
• Comply with all safety requirements; participate in safety training and practices.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow company hygiene guidelines.
• Communicate to supervisor when detecting defective materials.
• Read numbers and letters.
• Work with and around hazardous materials in hot and cold temperatures.

• Basic high school diploma or GED.
• Read, write, and speak English.
• Be punctual and reliable.
• Must complete a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

• Monday – Thursday, 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
