Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room – Full-Time – Days

Salary: $59,030 – $100,000

Shift: Day (United States of America)

Job Summary: The RN Clinical Periop Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team who ensures high quality, safe patient care in the operating room. The RN is licensed, knowledgeable, and upholds the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics.

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
• Provide patient-centered care adapted to cultural diversity and patient goals.
• Coordinate safe quality patient care documentation, including interdisciplinary communication.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and shared governance.
• Serve as preceptor/mentor and complete ongoing professional competency assessments.
• Promote evidence-based practice and participate in data collection and clinical research.
• Support efficient use of resources and develop protocols when appropriate.

Required Minimum Education:

• Associate Nursing or Bachelor Nursing (Preferred)

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):

• RN – Regular Nurse (Single State) or RN‑COMPACT – RN (Multi-state Compact)
• BLS – Basic Life Support (or ARC‑BLS) or BLS‑I – Basic Life Support Instructor

Minimum Experience:

• Minimum 5 years direct patient care nursing experience
