Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

This position focuses on behavioral health, counseling, intake, medication management, PTSD, psychopharmacology, suicide risk assessment, and therapeutic nurse‑patient relationships.

• Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in consultation with a multidisciplinary team.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for efficacy and potential side effects.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families using evidence‑based therapeutic communication techniques.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops on mental health and well‑being.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care, including discharge planning and aftercare support.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from an accredited program.
• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1+ years experience in a behavioral health setting, preferably inpatient or outpatient.
• Strong understanding of psychotropic medications, side effects, and proper administration protocols.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards as outlined by the American Nurses Association (ANA).

$60,000 to $100,000 per year.
