The role involves providing high-quality, safe patient care as an RN on a Med Surg Oncology Unit, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized care that respects cultural diversity.
Responsibilities- Perform the nursing process, partner with patients and families, and practice according to current clinical standards.
- Coordinate care, ensure effective communication, support performance improvement initiatives, and mentor staff.
- Proactive resource planning and participation in protocols development are essential.
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, active RN licensure (single-state or multi-state), and BLS certification.
- Experience of less than one year with clinical hours is preferred, along with strong skills in critical thinking, teamwork, and adherence to professional standards.
