Registered Nurse; RN Acute Care – Cardiac Medsurg – PRN

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary team on a Med Surg Cardiac unit. They utilize evidence-based practices, perform comprehensive assessments, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care, and foster collaborative relationships with patients and families.

• Key Responsibilities: Ensure exemplary clinical outcomes, coordinate care through effective communication, and support performance improvement initiatives. Promote evidence-based practice, participate in research, and uphold organizational policies and safety standards. Support resource management and contribute to protocol development.
• Qualifications & Skills: Requires an active RN license (single or multi-state), BLS certification, at least 1 year of recent acute care experience, and strong clinical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills. Basic computer proficiency and the ability to adapt in fast-paced environments are essential.
• Additional Requirements: Must complete mandatory education and serve as a preceptor or mentor. Demonstrates commitment to professional development and adheres to ethical and regulatory standards.

Key Duties: Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care; collaborate with team members; participate in quality improvement and research; develop care protocols; and ensure compliance with safety and organizational policies. The role involves working FT nights on a 21-bed unit, with PRN shifts including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
