Registered Nurse; RN; MedSurg Acute Care​/Post Surgical​/Burn​/Bariatric - Nights

The RN Resident is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, supporting their transition into professional practice through a structured 12-month Nurse Residency Program.

• Performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices and critical thinking.
• Delivering patient- and family-centered care that respects cultural diversity and involves active engagement and communication with patients and their families.
• Coordinating safe, quality care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring timely documentation and fostering a respectful, inclusive environment.
• Participating in performance improvement, research activities, and evidence-based practice initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
• Supporting resource management, developing protocols, and contributing to care planning to optimize practice and reduce adverse events.

• Diploma from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure (single or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required.
• Less than one year of RN experience.
• Strong clinical skills, teamwork, communication, and a commitment to professional development.
