Registered Nurse; RN MedSurg Acute Care​/Post Surgical​/Burn​/Bariatric – Nights

The RN Resident role is designed for newly licensed nurses with less than six months of experience, participating in a comprehensive 12-month Nurse Residency Program (NRP).

Responsibilities include:

• Providing safe, patient-centered nursing care aligned with evidence-based standards, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collaborating within interprofessional teams to ensure high-quality, individualized care that respects cultural diversity and involves families as care partners.
• Documenting care accurately and promoting respectful, inclusive clinical environments.
• Supporting performance improvement initiatives, research activities, and shared governance to enhance patient outcomes.
• Serving as a preceptor or mentor to foster a competent and future-ready nursing workforce.
• Upholding organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements, including accreditation standards like TJC.
• Participating in protocol development, resource management, and clinical research to optimize care delivery.

Qualifications include:

• Diploma from an accredited nursing program (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Current nursing licensure and commitment to ongoing professional development.
