Nurse Manager

Role Overview: The Nurse Manager provides leadership and management for a specific clinical unit or service, promoting excellence in patient care, staff retention, and operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee clinical, financial, human, and material resources to achieve desired outcomes.
• Ensure safety, quality standards, and compliance through data-driven decision-making.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment, modeling effective communication and team building.
• Manage staff recruitment, retention, orientation, and professional development.
• Promote evidence-based practice, research, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Engage in shared governance and build strong interdisciplinary partnerships.
• Analyze financial performance and utilize quality tools to optimize operations.
• Lead change management efforts and uphold professional nursing standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required;
  Master's preferred.
• Current RN license (multi-state or single-state as applicable) and BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical and leadership experience.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare financing, legal and ethical standards, and evidence-based practices.
