* The Role:
** As an Installation Technician, you’ll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service and reliable door solutions to our customers. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade a variety of sliding, swinging, and rotating doors while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
*
* Key Responsibilities:
*** Perform service and installation in accordance with manufacturers’ recommended installation procedures and specifications.
* Document time spent and complete proper documentation detailing any problems, shortages and inefficiencies in job-site conditions.
* Perform all work in a safe manner for prevention of accidents to themselves, co-workers, contractors on-site and the general public and property of all concerned.
* Wear and maintain any/all Personal Protection Equipment when necessary.
* Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
* Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
* Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors, providing exceptional service at every interaction.
* Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification.
* Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 100 lbs., climbing ladders, kneeling).
* Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.

* What You Will Need:
*** 3-5 years’ experience of direct industry, store front door installation or relevant industry experience, Storefront, Glazing, Doors, Aluminium Frames, Electrical, Glass, Automatic Doors, Hardware etc.
* Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices.
* Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage (120v) wiring (access control systems a plus).
* Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred).
* Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
* High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
* Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively.
