Are you ready to power up your career? Prime Power Services’ two-year Generator Field Service Technician Apprenticeship Program is your gateway to a high‑demand career in emergency power supply systems (EPSS). No experience necessary.
Participants in the program will acquire EPSS skills while employed full‑time and earning a living. Our emergency power apprentices learn from some of the most knowledgeable and respected leaders in the industry in a supportive environment. Prime Power’s training campus is located in Mableton, GA, and hosts an award‑winning training team of EGSA‑certified trainers and experts in learning and development.
Join us here in Atlanta for your first 90 days and thereafter stay in Georgia or relocate to Tampa (FL), the Carolinas, or the National Capital Region in Virginia. When the program is complete, participants will have earned certifications and hands‑on experience that will pave the way for a well‑paid, high‑demand career.

The position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. Ability to frequently lift and move items over 50 pounds is essential. The employee must be able to talk and hear regularly and perform physically demanding tasks.
Other Requirements- Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (zero felony convictions and less than three moving violations in the past three years).
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must pass a criminal background check and mandatory drug screening.
