Senior External Auditor, Austin, MN

Accurant LLC is a progressive, expanding, full-service accounting and tax firm with multiple locations throughout the Midwest. We're looking for an experienced external auditor to work out of our Austin, MN location. Our firm offers flexibility, a competitive salary, incentive bonuses and an excellent benefits package.

• Lead audits for non-profit, for-profit, and governmental organizations
• Conduct thorough research on complex financial reporting issues
• Make final adjusting entries for business clients prior to preparing tax returns
• Review the work of less experienced staff

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a similar field required
• CPA license preferred
• At least five years of leading audits (non-profit and government) in a CPA firm setting
• Must live in close proximity to the office in order to meet with clients in-person
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance accounting, and financial reporting standards
• Desire to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills, displaying the ability to connect & build relationships with clients, firm leadership and peers
• Confidence in professional aptitude & the ability to effectively convey skills, knowledge and qualifications to clients
• Experience with Tax Dome, Quick Books & Microsoft Office a plus
