Full-Charge Bookkeeper

Accurant LLC is a progressive, expanding, full-service accounting and tax firm with multiple locations throughout the Midwest. We’re looking for an experienced full-charge bookkeeper to work out of our Austin, MN location. • Main contact for your clients
• Maintain records of financial transactions
• Record transactions in the proper general ledger accounts
• Bank and other account reconciliations
• Review account records for accuracy
• Prepare financial statements including Balance Sheet and P&L
• Payroll
• Some administrative work including sharing phone duties

• At least two years of bookkeeping experience
• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting methods, including double-entry bookkeeping, accrual accounting and cash accounting
• Ability to use spreadsheets and accounting software to produce key financial reports
• Understanding of basic tax liabilities, including payroll and sales tax
• Desire to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills, displaying the ability to connect & build relationships with clients, firm leadership and peers
• Experience with Quick Books, Tax Dome, Excel & Microsoft Office a plus
