Finance Manager

The Finance Manager role means belonging to a great team. The Finance Manager will oversee the end-to-end financial performance and will be responsible for the on‑going support of Home Solutions Midwest. The Finance Manager position is designed to provide leadership, management and accountability for the organization's financial, budgetary and administrative processes, with an eye to continuously develop and improve systems. This position helps deliver on financial goals while ensuring our operations are supported to fuel the business.

• Oversee the financial department.
• Oversee basic accounting procedures
• Forecast company finances and create financial models
• Compile financial data, create reports, and analyze the financial health of the company
• Provide insights into the financial results of the business on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
• Identify ways for the organization to cut costs and increase profits
• Enforce policies and procedures that keep the company in compliance with financial regulations
• Ability to add ad hoc payments and manage taxes and tax compliance
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in an Accounting, Finance, or business‑related field required
• 5‑10 years of progressively responsible job‑related experience
• Business Management experience
• Solid working knowledge of financial systems, statements and reporting
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
