Job Schedule: Full time

Weekly Hours: 32.00

Salary Range: $32.00 - $49.50

Pay Info: $10,000 - $20,000 Sign On Bonus

This position will float between Austin, Albert Lea, Preston, MN, and Saint Ansgar, IA, working in Rehab/Skilled, Outpatient, and Home Health settings with an experienced group of therapists.

Job Summary: Administers speech and language evaluations, tests, or examinations to diagnose and plan treatments for clients with speech problems and swallowing disorders. Develops individualized treatment plans, provides speech and language services, monitors disease progression, and adjusts treatments accordingly. Instructs clients in therapeutic exercises, provides consultation, and ensures all standards and policies are met. May treat individuals of all ages and demonstrates documentation in line with departmental guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Participates in departmental activities, interacts with external providers, and may supervise assistants, aides, and students. Provides ongoing education and training to peers as needed.

Qualifications: Appropriate education level per state licensure; valid license as a Speech-Language Pathologist; preferred certification from ASHA or working toward Clinical Fellowship Year; valid driver’s license if applicable; BLS certification within first 60 days.
