Accounting Manager

Overview

Bridgepoint Consulting, An Addison Group Company, is currently seeking experienced Accounting Managers who want to join our growing Austin team, tasked with supporting our clients in a wide range of interim and project-based accounting needs.

Base pay range: $/yr - $/yr

• Support clients in a wide range of interim and project-based accounting needs
• Adapt to various client environments and communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
• Hands-on full-cycle accounting tasks with routine processes (accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, cash management)
• Contribute to monthly closing procedures and monthly/quarterly financial reporting
• Prepare and/or review monthly account reconciliations
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and research technical GAAP issues when needed
• Work in a small to mid-sized company environment with the ability to multi-task

• Required:
  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (degrees are a plus)
• Strong desire for consulting-style work and delivering excellent client service
• Hungry, Humble, Smart attitude

• Highly Preferred:
  Revenue recognition experience; work experience with both public and private companies; industry experience in start-ups, technology, software, SaaS, and Big Four/public accounting; hands-on experience with accounting software (Quick Books, Net Suite, Great Plains, or Intacct) and moderate–advanced Excel

• Preferred: CPA license or MBA; prior employment by a Big 4 or other nationally recognized accounting firms
