Senior Accountant – Capital Projects

We’re partnering with a high-growth company in Austin to add a Senior Accountant to their team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with a background in property accounting, capital projects, and forecasting, who’s ready to take ownership in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

• Own accounting for large capital projects, including project tracking, asset capitalization, and WIP reconciliation
• Manage property and fixed asset accounting across multiple locations and business units
• Collaborate with FP&A to support accurate forecasting, budgeting, and project spend tracking
• Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly reporting packages
• Support audit requests and internal control processes
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and project management teams

• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong foundation in capital project or property accounting
• Experience with WIP, project-based accounting, and forecasting
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
• Proficiency in Net Suite or similar ERP preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA licensed or eligible strongly preferred
• Background in Big Four or public accounting is a plus
