Senior Revenue Accountant

Join Cohesity’s Global Revenue Accounting team. Own revenue recognition under US GAAP (ASC 606), drive close‑process excellence, and partner cross‑functionally to scale controls, systems, and reporting as the company grows.

• Prepare month‑end journal entries and account reconciliations, ensuring completeness, accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
• Support quarterly revenue reporting and preparation of financial‑statement disclosures.
• Partner with Deal Management, Sales Ops, Pricing, and FP&A to ensure complete and accurate revenue system data and downstream reporting.
• Drive system/process improvements, including Net Suite ARM configuration and enhancements to increase automation, quality, and speed.
• Own and maintain key revenue controls (e.g., SSP, concessions, reserves, deferrals, concurrent transactions) and contribute to control design/testing in partnership with SOX/Internal Audit.
• Respond to internal/external audit requests and ensure documentation quality across close artifacts.

• 3–5 years of progressive experience in public accounting and/or SaaS/software revenue accounting under US GAAP (ASC 606).
• Strong analytical problem‑solving, attention to detail, and ability to operate in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Net Suite (ERP/ARM) preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline required.
• Big 4 or audit experience is a plus.
• CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus.
