Position SummaryThe Company is seeking an experienced Financial Accounting and Reporting Supervisor to join our accounting and finance team. The role oversees the Company’s general ledger and monthly close process, prepares and reviews financial statements, supports customer reporting and billing, ensures compliance with U.S. GAAP, supports internal and external audit activities, and contributes to the accuracy and integrity of the Company’s financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the general ledger and ensure timely, accurate monthly close of the books.
- Prepare, analyze, and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support external audit and examination requests.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and strengthen internal controls.
- Provide technical accounting research and guidance as needed, particularly focused on revenue recognition.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606 – Revenue Recognition.
- Demonstrated experience managing general ledger and monthly close processes.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
