Vinson & Elkins has an immediate opening for a Tax Accountant responsible for supporting the firm’s internal tax function.
Responsibilities- Support for income and other tax compliance and business license obligations.
- Assist in communicating with tax authorities.
- Provide support to other members of the accounting/finance team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- CPA eligible or CPA certified.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a large public accounting firm or industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel, in particular.
- Problem solving/analytical skills and interpersonal/teamwork abilities.
- Strong sense of urgency and able to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
