Job Overview

Title: Accounts Payable Accountant – Full‑time, On‑site in Austin, TX 78704

Salary: $70,000/yr + bonus

• Own the AP/AR function for an assigned commercial real estate portfolio
• Apply tenant rent payments via checks, EFTs, credit cards, and online platforms
• Partner closely with property management to resolve discrepancies fast
• Research tenant payment history and support leasing and operations teams
• Prepare monthly A/R reports and related journal entries
• Assist with reconciliations, projects, and cross‑training across accounting

• 3+ years of AR/AP or accounting experience required
• Excel skills required; MRI, Yardi, or similar software preferred
