Description
Who We Are
Our mission is to help the world gain access to more plasma. Powered by technology and compassionate design, Join Parachute has reimagined the plasma donation experience into one that is easier and friendlier - one donation at a time.
We've grown from 2 to 33+ operations in less than three years - and we're just getting started! Join us as we build an organization that is as innovative behind the scenes as it is in the donor experience.
What You'll Do
We're seeking a highly organized, analytically-minded Senior Accountant with deep experience in manufacturing and inventory accounting. This role will play a critical part in strengthening our close process, supporting multiple locations, and partnering closely with Mohammed, to build scalable financial operations. The ideal candidate is a spreadsheet power user who thrives in structured, fast-paced environments and is energized by solving problems through process, rigor, and automation.
Why Join Us
We're not just looking for an accountant - we're looking for a partner in building the next phase of our finance function. This is an opportunity to work directly with future leadership (Controller and VP of Finance) and contribute meaningfully to our growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain accurate inventory and cost accounting records across multiple sites
- Prepare, review, and reconcile balance sheet accounts with full roll forwards
- Support timely and accurate month-end closes, including journal entries and accruals
- Build and optimize Excel models to streamline accounting workflows and improve accuracy
- Partner with operations to align financial results with physical inventory activity
- Support audit requests and ensure documentation is organized and complete
- Assist in documenting accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, ops, and systems teams
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (CPA or progress toward a plus)
- 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or inventory-heavy environment
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, nested formulas, reconciliations, modeling)
- Experience working with multiple sites or entities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus, but not required
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Experience at a high-growth or PE-backed company
- Prior involvement in process documentation or close optimization efforts
- Enjoys teaching others and building scalable systems
- Competitive compensation
- Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance
- Paid time off and company-paid holidays
- Career growth opportunities within a fast-scaling organization
