Accountant, Financial Reporting, Senior Accountant

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and manufacturing sector, is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join their Global Revenue team. As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will be an essential partner supporting the revenue recognition cycle across various departments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a proactive approach, and excellent communication abilities, aligning seamlessly with the organization’s commitment to innovation and excellence.

Job Title: Senior Revenue Accountant

Location: Austin, TX (100% On-Site)

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

• Support annual and quarterly revenue forecasting and analysis for management reporting
• Review large sales transactions to ensure accurate revenue recognition and deferred revenue recording based on contractual terms
• Complete monthly revenue accounting and closing responsibilities
• Communicate technical issues related to revenue accounting to stakeholders
• Maintain up-to-date policies, procedures, checklists, and control documentation in compliance with relevant standards

• CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• Minimum of 2+ years of accounting experience, with exposure to revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP (ASC 606/IFRS 15)
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel; experience with Oracle, Hyperion, and Apollo is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication skills and a self-starter attitude with a sense of ownership
