Senior Accounting Manager

Our client is a well‑funded, fast‑growing organization in an exciting, evolving industry and is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to support the continued growth and maturation of its accounting function.

This role offers meaningful exposure to leadership, hands‑on ownership, and the opportunity to help shape processes in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Be Responsible For

+ Overseeing key areas of the general accounting function, including general ledger activity, financial reporting, and close operations

+ Supporting and improving month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency

+ Preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules

+ Assisting with the development and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls in accordance with US GAAP

+ Partnering with cross‑functional teams to support financial reporting, compliance, and operational initiatives

+ Contributing to process improvements and system enhancements, including ERP‑related projects and automation efforts

+ Reviewing financial data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement

+ Providing guidance and support to accounting staff and contributing to a collaborative, growth‑oriented team environment

+ Assisting with special projects related to business expansion, system implementations, or organizational growth

+ Taking a flexible, hands‑on approach and supporting the accounting team as needed

Requirements

What We're Looking For

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

+ CPA preferred, but not required

+ 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with a strong foundation in US GAAP

+ Experience working in growing, fast‑paced organizations

+ Exposure to financial systems and ERP environments

+ Background in both public and private accounting is a plus

+ Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and adapt to change

+ Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
