Your ImpactReporting directly to the executive leadership team, you will take complete ownership of the accounting function in a lean, fast paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:

- Systems & ERP: Administering and optimizing Net Suite, ensuring the system is configured to scale seamlessly with rapid project activity.
- Project Accounting: Managing strict procurement controls, corporate expenses, and complex project job costing to support heavy project financing and bonding requests.
- Audit & Compliance: Managing relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies, ensuring audit ready documentation is always in place to support PCAOB level audits.

We are looking for a technical financial leader and active CPA who knows exactly what it takes to build robust controls within a fast growing, heavily regulated environment.
- Experience & Credentials: 10 plus years of progressive accounting experience, with at least two years sitting as a Controller or Assistant Controller within a publicly traded company. You must hold an active CPA license (in Texas or willing to obtain reciprocity).
- Systems Mastery: Deep, hands on Net Suite expertise is required. You must have configured, optimized, and scaled Net Suite in a prior role.
- Project & Capital Accounting: A strong understanding of construction or heavy capital project accounting, including budget management and committed costs. Experience in energy, defense, or other highly regulated sectors is a major plus.
- Compliance: Proven experience building SOX control systems and supporting PCAOB level audits in a lean or startup environment.
- Culture Driver: This role requires you to be fully on site five days a week at the Austin headquarters to drive cross functional success.
- $225,000 to $250,000 base salary.
- 15% to 25% performance based target bonus.
- A massive career trajectory and the chance to leave a lasting mark on the energy transition.
