Accountant, Financial Reporting, Financial Analyst

Ready to begin your accounting career? We are now hiring an early career accountant for our financial operations group. For this position you will need an understanding of accounting principles pertaining to revenue, cash, receivables and accounts payable. Our ideal candidate is ready to expand on their operational understanding and move into how these components fit within the general ledger and financial statements.

• Perform financial accounting and reporting activities for assigned accounts.
• Research and ensure compliance with various regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Prepare accounting reports following prescribed format and requirements.
• Review work papers, vendor payment control groups, and journal entries prepared by accounting specialists.

• Four or more years of experience in accounting or relevant experience.
• A bachelor's degree in accounting, business, economics or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

• Problem solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills. Outstanding professional, prompt, and courteous communication skills.
• Microsoft Office suite experience with Excel and Outlook as musts.
• Large ERP experience (SAP, Oracle).
