Overview
Full-time Medical Receptionist/Call Center Float is needed for small fast paced Urology practice in Central Austin.
Urology experience is preferred.
Must be able to multitask, learn tasks quickly and work independently. We are looking for a superstar employee that is dependable, friendly, looking for longevity in a career and hard working with a good work ethic.
This role would entail being crossed trained in our front check-in office, back checkout office and our in office call center.

Responsibilities- Being the face of our practice. Make each and every one on of our patients feel welcome and happy. Treat everyone as you would treat a friend or family member.
- Scheduling patient appointments, follow-ups, and procedures.
- Collecting copays and deductibles as well as bills owed to office at check-in.
- Verifying patients insurance and eligibility. (Knowledge of this process is a plus).
- Guiding the flow of information from the telephone, fax, scans, and emails to where it needs to go.
- Completing medical records transmittals and requests.
- Obtaining referrals and managing online incoming & outgoing referrals
- Sending and receiving medical record requests.
- Triaging a high volume of administrative and clinical questions from patients and properly handling patient’s concerns to completion.
- Returning a high volume of patient voicemails
- Properly triaging calls and routing messages/tasks to the appropriate staff/provider.
- Must be an independent worker and be able to efficiently time manage.
- Proficient in communication and documentation.
- Ability to work in an office setting. (This is not a remote position.)
