We’re looking for a Facility Operations Specialist to join Procore’s Workplace & Office Operations team in Austin, TX. In this role, you’ll support our daily building maintenance, shipping logistics, and workplace infrastructure. Your primary goal is to ensure our physical office operates seamlessly while delivering a world-class environment for all employees, executives, and guests. As a Facility Operations Specialist, you’ll partner with IT, event teams, building management, and external vendors to troubleshoot maintenance requests and execute facility improvements.

Use your construction/maintenance expertise, organizational agility, and proactive problem-solving skills to keep our campus safe, functional, and highly efficient. This position reports into the Facilities Manager and will be based in our Austin, TX office on a full-time, in-office basis. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

Respond to urgent facilities tickets and perform day-to-day maintenance, basic repairs, and cosmetic upkeep across the campus. Manage domestic and international shipping, receiving, and distribution for all office mail, freight, and vendor shipments using UPS, USPS, and Fed Ex. Perform regular campus walkthroughs and safety inspections, including checking exit signage, fire extinguishers, emergency exits, and lighting. Collaborate with the IT department to build, install, and adjust desks, furniture, and workstation equipment.

Coordinate and execute internal office moves, desk reconfigurations, and spatial adjustments. Assist cross-functional teams with the physical setup, breakdown, and logistical support for on-site and off-site company events. Escalate complex structural or mechanical building issues to external vendors and property management when necessary.

What we’re looking for:

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant trade certifications or technical training preferred. 2+ years of active experience in facilities, construction, maintenance, or commercial office operations. Proficiency with shipping and receiving platforms, freight carriers, asset tracking systems, and facilities software (e.g., Office Space, Google Workspace, MS Office Suite). Strong commitment to customer service with excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively across a diverse employee population.

Adaptable team player with strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting. Valid driver’s license required. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and comfortably perform active physical tasks (walking, standing, climbing, bending, and reaching) for 30–60% of the workday.
