Job Details:

The successful Business Development Salesperson should target markets will include healthcare, manufacturing and select commercial, where we provide a broad range of technology services including but are not limited to, voice, data, fiber optic, copper, and coax, infrastructure solutions CCTV Systems, Access Control and Security devices, Paging Systems, Audio/Visual systems, Master Clock systems, Wireless Access Points. Should be well networked within the telecommunications industry (vendors, manufacturers, and distributors) and be membership affiliated within trade industry.

An ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, a sense of urgency, and the ability to follow-up are essential. Position also requires the ability to work both independently and within a team environment. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential. Position requires flexible working hours and travel, including to customer job sites.

  • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
  • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
