Job Description– The Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail‑oriented Incentive Plan Analyst to join our Sales Incentive Program (SIP) team within the Sales Strategy and Planning organization.
The position will assist in shaping our global sales incentive programs through in-depth analysis, predictive modeling, and performance tracking. It reports to the Sr. Manager, Global Sales Compensation and works closely with Sales Operations, Finance, IT, and HR to support administration of Global SIP Plans.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct audits of plan documentation, job profiles, and compensation components to ensure compliance, consistency, and data accuracy.
- Support annual compensation planning cycles through data analysis, scenario modeling, and recommendations on plan mechanics and system capabilities.
- Collaborate with partners in Sales, HR, Finance, IT, and other groups.
- Work within the end‑to‑end operational process for the Sales Incentive Program (SIP).
- Support configuration of the Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) tool, Varicent, and ensure it is aligned to current and new plan designs.
- Process documentation and create enablement documents in PowerPoint.
- Complete new hire onboarding training for sales hires on processes related to SIP.
- 2+ years of experience in sales compensation, commissions, sales operations, or sales finance, ideally within a high‑growth or technology‑driven organization.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience with databases and SQL (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake) or compensation platforms (e.g., Varicent, Xactly, Callidus) is a plus.
- General understanding of sales processes, roles, and quota‑based incentive programs.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
