POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Foreman at LJA Telecom
, you will lead field crews to complete work safely, efficiently, and to customer standards while maintaining compliance with all safety requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to build positive, collaborative relationships with both team members and management. Success in this role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety on every job.

TYPICAL DAY MAY INCLUDE
  • Ensuring safety measures are met, including safety signage, cones, and PPE for crews
  • Communicating scope of work and delegating tasks so the crew works in tandem to meet customer standards
  • Overseeing crew to ensure tasks are completed safely, on time, and to standard
  • Providing training when necessary to ensure safe and correct task completion
  • Managing time on each job to meet daily production targets
  • Communicating with Field Supervisor & Manager on issues and completion status
  • Taking and tagging photos of the job with the Company Cam app
  • Checking quality of work and ensuring final product photos meet customer standards
  • Reading and deciphering prints to execute job scope accurately
  • Operating equipment for aerial or underground tasks based on trade
REQUIRED EDUCATION / LICENSE / CERTIFICATIONS
  • Valid driver’s license
  • High school diploma or GED
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bend, climb, and squat to perform duties in the field
  • Have hand and finger dexterity to safely operate tools and equipment
  • Detect odors and fumes as required for safe performance
  • Walk, stand, and work outdoors for extended periods in various conditions
  • Have adequate hearing and vision to perform duties safely and effectively
  • Be 21 years or older
  • Be willing and able to travel to project sites and for team coordination
