Business Development Manager, Training & Certification – Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Lead and grow as a Business Development Manager focused on helping our customers accelerate the adoption of Amazon Web Services through our Training & Certification services. Build, develop and sell skills transformation programs, certification plans, SaaS training platforms for channel training and internal training. Understand how AWS training and cloud skills transfer to customers and help them get started quickly on our platform, dramatically improve operational efficiency, and leverage new AWS services to innovate.
Lead a team to evangelize the benefits of our services to both internal and external customers.
- Navigate and map complex commercial enterprise customer organizational structures and identify key decision makers to sell AWS Training & Certification services.
- Lead and train a team to evangelize and sell Training & Certification services.
- Own, define, and execute programs that address customer needs and strategic priorities for Training & Certification.
- Build deep customer trust and deliver results through long‑term transformational training programs.
- Influence product roadmaps and work cross‑functionally with technical and non‑technical teams.
- 3+ years of business agreements development, negotiation and execution experience.
- 3+ years of Go‑To‑Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS market sales.
- 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience.
- Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar.
- Experience setting up and managing a sales pipeline.
- Experience working cross‑functionally with tech and non‑tech teams.
