Product Research Managers are the product team’s external radar and voice of the customer. In partnership with Product Managers and Customer Success, you lead market and customer research and run alpha and proof‑of‑concept testing that feeds the roadmap. You turn external signals into decision‑ready insights and build strong relationships with design partners. This role keeps our bets grounded in evidence and helps the team move quickly with confidence.

This role is based in Austin, TX, with a hybrid work setup
, combining in‑office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Market & Competitive Research

• Conduct preliminary market research to support new product initiatives and analyze competitors by testing their products, joining demos, and benchmarking capabilities.
• Prepare structured research deliverables that inform strategic decision‑making.

Customer Discovery & Insights

• Conduct interviews and conversations with customers to uncover needs, workflows, and pain points, and identify gaps and opportunities in customer workflows and existing solutions.
• Segment current customers based on relevant criteria to inform rollout and adoption strategies.
• Define criteria for alpha testers and coordinate their recruitment and onboarding; manage the logistics of customer testing groups to ensure smooth execution.
• Partner with Product Managers in running feedback sessions, independently lead sessions when needed to scale, and consolidate learnings into actionable reports for the product team.

Cross‑functional Collaboration

• Work with Product Managers to support discovery, validation, and pilot execution; partner with Customer Success to identify suitable customers for research and testing.
• Share research findings with stakeholders across the organization to influence direction without owning strategy.

• 3+ years of experience in market research, product research, customer insights, or a related role in a SaaS, B2B, or technology environment.
• Strong interviewing and synthesis skills, able to distill insights from both qualitative and quantitative data.
• Experience coordinating multi‑stakeholder projects and managing customer‑facing programs.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

• Experience in product management, UX research, or product marketing.
• Familiarity with competitive analysis frameworks and research methodologies.
• Background in running pilots, alpha/beta testing programs, or customer advisory boards.
• Analytical skills for segmentation and insight generation.
• Experience in healthcare, home care, or adjacent industries.
