Purpose

The purpose of the Inventory Manager role at TIE is to ensure the effective management of all semiconductor‑related inventory activities, including spare parts, raw materials, and production supplies to support business efficiency and cost control. This role ensures accurate record‑keeping, expiration management, and optimal inventory levels, while collaborating with procurement, manufacturing, and receiving teams to streamline inventory processes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and systems for semiconductor equipment, parts, and commodities.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment with the Procurement Department.
  • Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to ensure semiconductor‑related inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate with the Procurement and Warehouse teams to ensure timely receipt and storage of goods.
  • Manage material expiration dates and apply FIFO (First‑In, First‑Out) practices based on commodity type.
  • Analyze inventory data and generate reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Train and supervise inventory staff as needed.
  • Other related functions as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in inventory management.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management software and systems (e.g., Warehouse Management Systems – WMS).
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Five years of experience in inventory management.
  • Experience in setting up a new customer or supporting customer onboarding process.
