Business Development Manager
Job Purpose:
The Business Development Manager will develop relationships within target customers to penetrate organizations and open doors to new business opportunities in Texas and surrounding territories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement global account strategies in collaboration with management to achieve business goals.
- Drive EMS and component sales to increase market share and strategic positioning.
- Meet and exceed sales revenue targets set by management.
- Communicate issues and feedback to the company to facilitate resolution.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities, engaging cross-functional teams as needed.
- Manage RFQs and ensure timely responses, providing feedback for business planning.
- Maintain and update sales data, opportunity logs, and call plans regularly.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- 12+ years of successful sales experience with revenue responsibilities of $10M+ preferred.
- Knowledge of the CM/EMS industry and manufacturing supply chains.
- Experience in high-tech sectors such as communications, industrial, medical, military, and renewable energy.
- Motivated, entrepreneurial attitude, with strong work ethics and integrity.
- Proven success in developing and securing new accounts.
- Excellent skills in MS Office, communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing.
- Experience working with remote, cross-functional teams in matrix organizations.
- Project management skills and ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Willingness to travel as required.
