From executing scaled sales and service delivery programs to ensuring our customers have best-in-class tools and products at their fingertips, our SMB team combines operational expertise and sales acumen with a customer-centric mindset to help businesses achieve their marketing goals on Tik Tok.

We are looking for a Sales Director within our SMB sales organization who will be responsible for driving strategy and client service expectations within Apps & Services verticals across North America and globally. You will serve as the advocate for these categories both internally and externally. You will manage a team of Head of Industry leaders and scaled sales teams, and will be expected to work closely with our cross functional partners to find creative, product, and measurement solutions for our high opportunity clients in the Apps & Services verticals.

You will have a deep knowledge of media, entertainment, and commerce combined with excellent communication and analytical skills. Success in this position requires a focus on long-range revenue planning, project/relationship management, team building, measurement/forecasting, and the ability to tell a strong story that shows Tik Tok's unique and proven ability to drive client business transformation. This position is full-time and based out of our Austin, TX office.

Responsibilities
  • Play primary role in defining and driving the overall vertical solution vision and long-term business strategy for the vertical
  • Leverage market data, historical category performance, and industry insights to develop long-range strategies and annual business plan
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to set go-to-market priorities, product adoption goals and track revenue growth and important focused initiatives
  • Synthesize market feedback to identify revenue growth opportunities and competitive threats. Define client problems, size opportunities and prioritize initiatives for the vertical that are differentiated, scalable and repeatable.
  • Hire, coach, and develop a multi-level management team equipped to design books of business, acquire clients at scale, be strategic consultants to our partners, and accurately forecast and manage revenue to ambitious quotas
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Tik Tok’s features and ad units and consult clients on Tik Tok product offerings and demonstrate expertise of creative programs, product capabilities, measurement, commerce, attribution, and KPIs
