** About the Role
** Calc Air Employee Benefit Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Enrolled Actuary to serve as our Actuarial Support Lead and join our Support team. This role is designed to strengthen our customer support capabilities and contribute to the development, implementation, and testing of software features that empower our clients in the small plan retirement market. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with combo plans (DB/DC) and defined contribution administration, and will collaborate closely with our actuarial, support, and development teams.
** Some of the Tasks
*** Lead and manage a team of accredited specialists, including actuarial and other professionals
* Provide expert guidance on combo plan design, compliance, and administration
* Support customer inquiries and troubleshoot plan-specific issues with precision and clarity
* Collaborate with software developers to propose and refine features that enhance plan administration tools
* Participate in testing and validation of new software functionalities, ensuring actuarial accuracy and usability
* Contribute to training materials and client education initiatives related to retirement plan features
* Assist in interpreting regulatory changes and translating them into actionable system updates
* Offer insights during product planning sessions to align actuarial needs with technical capabilities
** About you
*** EA designation required, with current enrollment status
* Minimum 5 years of experience in retirement plan administration, with a focus on combo plans including DC administration
* Strong understanding of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations applicable to small retirement plans
* Demonstrated experience leading, managing or mentoring professional support or technical teams in a client service environment
