Salesforce Product Manager - Agentforce & Data Cloud
Fully Remote
Full-time
DescriptionThe Salesforce Product Manager leads product strategy and delivery for Agentforce and Salesforce Data 360 (formerly Data Cloud) for a commercial customer. This role owns the path from business problem to released capability, including use‑case qualification, data readiness, roadmap, backlog, solution definition, pilots, launch, adoption, measurement, and ongoing improvement.
Success requires applied product experience with both platforms and an understanding of how trusted data, business logic, secure actions, and clear guardrails support useful AI agents. The Product Manager evaluates whether a use case is worth pursuing, identifies data and governance dependencies before delivery begins, and turns qualified opportunities into release plans that business and technical teams can execute.
This is a hands‑on platform product role accountable for product decisions, prioritization, requirements, and measurable outcomes. The Product Manager partners closely with Salesforce architects, administrators, developers, data engineers, and customer stakeholders, using technical fluency to evaluate designs, make informed tradeoffs, and guide delivery.
Key Functions- Own the product vision, roadmap, priorities, and backlog for Agentforce and Data 360 capabilities.
- Qualify and prioritize use cases based on user needs, business value, data readiness, governance risk, cost, reuse potential, technical dependencies, and delivery capacity.
- Translate priorities into product requirements, epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, data requirements, agent evaluation criteria, and release plans.
- Define Data 360 requirements covering source systems, connectors, data streams, zero-copy access where appropriate, data‑model mapping, identity resolution, calculated insights, segmentation, activation, unstructured content, data quality, permissions, consent, and governance.
- Define Agentforce requirements covering topics, instructions, actions, grounding and retrieval, Flow and API integrations, access controls, guardrails, human handoff, and monitoring.
- Coordinate decisions across business, architecture, data, engineering, security, privacy, legal, operations, and adoption teams; resolve dependencies and sequence releases.
- Lead prototype, pilot, testing, and launch‑readiness activities, with clear success measures and acceptance criteria.
- Define how the team evaluates groundedness, task completion, reliability, access controls, escalation, user experience, and business impact.
- Use production feedback and metrics to improve agent behavior, data quality, adoption, cost effectiveness, and reusable platform patterns.
- Maintain clear product decisions, assumptions, risks, and dependencies, with traceability from the intended business outcome through data requirements, agent behavior, release, and measured results.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management or product ownership experience with enterprise software, CRM, data platforms, AI-enabled products, automation, or SaaS.
- Demonstrated product management experience with both Salesforce Agentforce and Data 360, including taking Agentforce or Data 360 capabilities through a pilot or production release. Candidates must be able to explain their personal product decisions, data and agent design, quality measures, adoption approach, and business outcomes. Training or certification alone does not meet this requirement.
- Practical knowledge of Data 360, including data ingestion or zero-copy access, data streams, Data Lake Objects, Data Model Objects, identity resolution, calculated insights, segmentation and…
