A lovely family in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced, engaging, and dedicated Nanny to care for their 2-month-old baby and grow with their family for years to come. The family hopes to have more children, so they are looking for someone interested in a long-term position who will become a trusted part of their children's lives as their family grows.

The family is active and travels frequently, and they are looking for a Nanny who is excited to join them on their adventures and is comfortable taking the baby along wherever the day takes them. The ideal candidate is passionate about child development, enjoys engaging with babies, and understands the importance of helping children reach their milestones. They want someone who is present, attentive, and intentional with their time around the baby, with no phone use while providing care.

The family is flexible with scheduling and wants someone who can adapt as their needs change. They are open to helping the right candidate relocate to Austin and can initially offer a live-in arrangement while the nanny makes housing plans.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, with a flexible schedule that may look like 7:00am–3:00pm or 12:00pm–7:00pm
• Full-time hours guaranteed, with flexibility to adjust the daily schedule
• Occasional evening and Friday or Saturday availability as needed
• ASAP start

• Providing attentive, loving care for the baby throughout the day
• Supporting the baby's development and helping them reach age-appropriate milestones
• Planning engaging, developmentally appropriate activities as the baby grows
• Following the family's routines for feeding, naps, and daily care
• Taking the baby on outings and accompanying the family to activities, appointments, and travel
• Maintaining a phone-free approach while actively caring for the baby
• Preparing for the next stages of development, including introducing solids and supporting language and motor skills
• Helping with simple meal preparation and cooking with the children as the family grows
• Maintaining the baby's belongings and keeping their spaces organized
• Traveling with the family and adapting to changing schedules and locations
• Working closely with the parents to provide consistent care and support their parenting preferences
• Being a reliable, long-term presence as the family grows

• Norland Nanny background is a huge plus
• Extensive professional nanny experience; 10+ years is a plus
• Interested in a long-term position and growing with the family
• Flexible and adaptable when schedules or plans change
• Comfortable traveling frequently, both domestically and internationally
• A second language is a plus

• Valid driver's license and comfortable driving with children
• Must be willing to travel with the family

• Must be attentive and engaged while caring for the baby, with no phone use during childcare
