Job Overview:

North Georgia Civil Inc is actively seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and execute commercial construction projects, specifically commercial remodels of large shipping facilities across the United States. This role demands strong leadership, expert knowledge of construction processes, and a commitment to quality, schedule, and budget control. You will oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, making a significant impact on our national operations.

This is a contract base jobs of a 6-12 month contracts with possibility to extend depends on performance and a 1099 work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning:
    • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
    • Define scope with engineers and architects.
    • Secure necessary construction permits and approvals.
  • Construction Management:
    • Direct day-to-day site operations.
    • Supervise subcontractors, vendors, and deliveries.
    • Conduct inspections to ensure adherence to plans and safety standards.
  • Budget and Cost Control:
    • Monitor and control project expenses.
    • Approve invoices, payment applications, and change orders.
    • Prevent cost overruns through strategic management.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead cross-functional teams with clarity and motivation.
    • Resolve conflicts and maintain project momentum.
  • Risk Management and Problem Solving:
    • Anticipate risks and implement mitigation strategies.
    • Troubleshoot operational challenges effectively.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of budgets, schedules, and progress.
    • Present updates to clients and executive teams.
    • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of project management experience in telecom or commercial construction.
  • Proficiency with project management software (Autodesk Construction Cloud, Smart Sheets, Google Suite).
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • PMP Certification (preferred).
