Overview

Commercial Construction Healthcare Project Manager

The Healthcare Project Manager will manage and control assigned projects, including overseeing field operations, site safety, productivity, schedule, quality workmanship, trade contractor and supplier coordination for a Commercial General Contractor. The position will work with the Senior Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager, and Superintendent leading the project team.

All aspects of creating and maintaining a safe job site.

• Coordinates and supervises all construction activities.
• Creates & maintains construction schedule, identifies and solves problems.
• Orders materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process.
• Organizes and directs all self-perform work on site.
• Directs all field personnel to complete the project on schedule, within budget, and with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.

• Construction Knowledge:
  Professional expert, knowledge & skill in all technical construction aspects.
• Computers:
  Able to operate computers, send/receive e-mails, create spreadsheets, write a letter, and build a schedule using a scheduling program.
• Organization:
  Utilizes strong organizational skills.
• Communication:
  Displays strong & effective written and oral communication skills with owners, architects, engineers, team members, subcontractors, and neighbors and employs practical listening skills.
• Problem-solving:
  Analyzes problems and makes sound decisions promptly based on goals, priorities, objectives, risks, implications, and costs.

Well-developed interpersonal skills. A self-starting, highly motivated, and goal-oriented individual. Excellent attention to detail with emphasis placed on quality. Knowledge of Procore and Microsoft Project is a must.

5+ Years

A demonstrated understanding of construction means and methods associated with renovating and constructing commercial and institutional buildings and related site work. The ability to effectively communicate both in written and spoken English words. Proficiency with spreadsheets, Email, and other software used in the construction industry. Must have Commercial Construction experience.

4-year college degree preferred

Ability to stand for long periods, ability to sit for long periods, must be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally, ability to work required overtime to accomplish the desired team objectives & goals
